Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance requirements
- Optimize routes for efficiency while maintaining on-time delivery performance
- Communicate proactively with dispatch regarding delays or route changes
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment and securement techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system compliance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Current DOT medical certification and ability to pass company physical
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and GPS navigation
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
