Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated) within Jacksonville metropolitan area
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation per DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency and on-time performance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup interactions
- Adhere to all safety protocols and defensive driving standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Familiarity with Jacksonville-area routes and traffic patterns
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
