Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks (Class A) in a safe and efficient manner at all times.
- Load and unload cargo securely, adhering to strict weight distribution guidelines.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Submit accurate delivery paperwork and electronic logs (EOC) in a timely fashion.
- Maintain a clean driving record and a professional appearance at all times.
- Follow all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety regulations strictly.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Must be at least 21 years of age to operate across state lines.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Previous experience with flatbed, reefer, or dry van preferred but not required for the right candidate.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be willing to undergo a criminal background check and drug screen.
