Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently to ensure timely delivery of cargo.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload freight securely using proper handling equipment.
- Maintain accurate logs using Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and all required paperwork.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedule changes or delivery issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (Must be current).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management skills and a commitment to safety.
