Responsibilities
- Safely Operate Vehicles: Drive commercial trucks to deliver cargo on time and within company safety standards.
- Cargo Handling: Load and unload freight securely, ensuring cargo safety during transit.
- Maintenance Checks: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Compliance: Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and adhere to all local, state, and federal DOT regulations.
- Customer Service: Interact professionally with shippers and receivers to ensure satisfaction.
- Route Planning: Follow designated routes and manage time effectively to meet delivery deadlines.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL: Current Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (Clean driving record required).
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Documentation: Current DOT Medical Card and valid DOT physical.
- Eligibility: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of traffic laws, cargo securement, and vehicle safety.
- Availability: Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to San Francisco, CA and Florida locations.
