Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A or Class B trucks to deliver freight on time and within schedule.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety compliance.
- Manage cargo handling carefully to ensure goods arrive in perfect condition.
- Complete all necessary delivery documentation and electronic logging accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and exterior of the vehicle at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) and clear MVR (driving record).
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
