Responsibilities
- Safe & Timely Delivery: Transport packages to customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and handling payments when necessary.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle to ensure it is clean and in good working order.
- Route Management: Follow assigned delivery routes and adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Package Handling: Safely load, unload, and handle packages of varying sizes and weights.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate delivery logs and update delivery status reports.
Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License: A valid Class C Driver’s License is required.
- Clean Record: A clean driving record with no major violations.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with customers.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift packages weighing up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Reliability: Must be punctual and dependable.
- Technology Proficiency: Basic comfort with using handheld devices or navigation apps.
