Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A) and adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring compliance with weight distribution and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and any route changes.
- Represent the company professionally while maintaining a clean driving record.
- Ensure the vehicle is kept clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Clean Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Valid DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience (preferred).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong time management and navigation skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and long-haul routes as needed.
