Job Overview
As a CDL Driver for our Fresno operations, you will be responsible for the safe and timely transport of goods across California and the broader Midwest region, including Illinois routes.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and vans in a safe, legal, and professional manner at all times.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle readiness and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members to ensure timely deliveries.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies to maintain a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A or Class B) with required endorsements.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel to Illinois and other regional destinations.
