Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks in compliance with all federal and state regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and electronic inspection reports (DVIR) for every trip.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Navigate routes efficiently, avoiding traffic delays and adhering to delivery schedules.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
- Keep the truck cabin and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT physical on file.
- Clear Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD).
