Responsibilities
- Safely Operate: Operate commercial vehicles in a safe, legal, and professional manner at all times.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Load & Unload: Secure cargo and unload freight accurately upon delivery.
- Documentation: Complete all necessary delivery and logbook paperwork accurately and on time.
- Schedule Adherence: Adhere to delivery schedules and traffic laws to ensure timely arrivals.
- Customer Service: Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers and shippers.
Qualifications
- Valid License: Valid CDL Class A or Class B (depending on position).
- Clean Record: Clean DMV record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Physical Health: Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Communication: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to follow written and oral instructions.
- Drug Free: Must be willing to submit to a drug screen and background check.
