Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Trucks, Vans, or Flatbeds) in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely to prevent damage and ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and complete all necessary paperwork accurately and on time.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies while driving.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and route changes.
- Conduct routine cleaning and maintenance of the vehicle interior and exterior.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) or Medical Card.
- Pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
- Basic English reading and comprehension skills for log reading and communication.
- Willingness to undergo CDL training if seeking a career change (Entry Level friendly).
