Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A vehicles safely and efficiently on highways and local routes.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Maintain accurate logs (DVIR, Hours of Service) and ensure timely delivery of cargo.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience (Preferred).
- Current DOT medical card and acceptable MVR (driving record).
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of interstate and intrastate DOT regulations.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and occasional overtime.
