Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local and regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Manage timely delivery of freight to Sacramento and surrounding areas
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Support warehouse operations when needed (loading/unloading)
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and routes
- Ability to pass mandatory drug screening and background check
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb equipment
- Flexibility for early morning/weekend shifts
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred
- Excellent time management and communication skills
