Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and trailers in strict compliance with all traffic laws and company policies.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and documentation for all trips.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and company standards at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding route changes or delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required (Training provided for Class B if Class A is preferred).
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
- Willingness to undergo a background check.
