Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional and long-haul routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance reports
- Manage delivery schedules with GPS tracking and route optimization
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding load status
- Maintain accurate logs (e-logs) and compliance documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- TWIC card and HazMat endorsement (preferred for CA routes)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proven experience with refrigerated/dry van freight
- Knowledge of Washington and California highway systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Flexible availability for overnight/weekend shifts
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
