Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently using proper equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation for all deliveries.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety procedures, and traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
Qualifications
- Valid State-issued Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and background check.
- Strong understanding of highway safety and traffic laws.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to perform minor vehicle troubleshooting.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and handle long hours on the road.
