Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to and from designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo accurately, adhering to weight and balance restrictions.
- Maintain accurate logs (DOT logs) and electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance, such as checking fluid levels and tire pressure.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (required).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT physical.
- At least 2 years of verifiable driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no DUIs or major traffic violations within the last 3 years.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road safety, and defensive driving techniques.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
