Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) to transport freight on time and damage-free.
- Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and driver logs.
- Secure cargo using appropriate straps, chains, and binders.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding traffic conditions and delivery updates.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license (Must have current medical card).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Strong time management and navigation skills.
- Ability to lift and handle freight weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally.
