Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers for long-haul and regional routes across Florida
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations, HOS compliance, and company safety protocols
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Deliver freight to distribution centers, warehouses, and retail locations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse teams
- Represent Swift Transportation professionally in all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience (or graduate of accredited CDL training program)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of Florida geography and highway systems
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
