Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, flatbed, or reefers) within Ohio and surrounding states
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Manage delivery schedules and optimize routes for efficiency
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation for compliance
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup processes
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and overnight shifts
- Physical ability to load/unload cargo up to 75 lbs
- Minimum 21 years of age with valid passport or TWIC card
