Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods across NYC metropolitan area
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Adapt routes efficiently based on traffic and delivery schedules
- Collaborate with dispatch team for on-time deliveries
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to obtain NYC commercial driving permit if required
- Strong knowledge of NYC traffic patterns and regulations
- Physical ability to load/unup to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including weekends
