Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional freight delivery in Southern California
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and FMCSA regulations
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and pre/post-trip inspections
- Maintain excellent customer service during client interactions
- Optimize routes for on-time delivery performance
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient load planning
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Basic knowledge of cargo securement techniques
- Strong communication and time management skills
- Flexibility to work variable shifts including early mornings
- Must live within 50 miles of Long Beach, CA
