Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for long-haul and regional routes
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Inspect and maintain vehicle pre/post-trip documentation
- Load/unload freight efficiently while following company procedures
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage delivery timelines and resolve route challenges
- Participate in ongoing safety training and certification updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with CA traffic laws and route planning
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic knowledge of freight handling and securement
- Must be authorized to work in the US
