Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional deliveries
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Manage efficient route planning and on-time delivery scheduling
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and shipment documentation
- Communicate professionally with dispatch and clients
- Participate in ongoing safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Hazardous Materials endorsement preferred
- Strong knowledge of New England roadways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
