Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes
- Complete pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate trip logs
- Load/unload freight with proper handling protocols
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient routing
- Report maintenance issues promptly to prevent downtime
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic knowledge of freight documentation
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for early morning starts and occasional weekends
