Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles in a safe and legal manner, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper securing of freight.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD) and documentation for all trips.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
- Uphold the company's high standards of customer service and safety culture.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with required endorsements (Hazmat/Tanker preferred but not required).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience (OTR, Local, or Regional).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and background check.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to safety.
