Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) to transport goods across North Carolina
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation per DOT regulations
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route planning and on-time delivery
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and company safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Represent Raleigh Transport Solutions professionally at all client locations
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in the past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of North Carolina roadways and regulations
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Flexibility for regional travel and occasional overnight stays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
