Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van, refrigerated, flatbed) across the Southeast
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, HOS guidelines, and company safety protocols
- Perform thorough pre/post-trip inspections and complete accurate documentation
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and safety procedures
- Maintain clean driving record and zero-tolerance for violations
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with current medical certificate
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Clean MVR (no more than 2 moving violations in 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varied weather conditions
- Strong time management and route optimization skills
- Knowledge of hazardous materials handling (HAZMAT certification a plus)
