Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles in a safe and efficient manner.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing freight.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logbooks.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety.
- Navigate local and regional routes in and around San Francisco, CA.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and warehouse personnel regarding cargo status.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Must possess a Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) and DOT medical card.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safe driving practices.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform repetitive motions.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays if required.
