Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) in compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations (FMCSR).
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely, verifying quantities and condition upon delivery.
- Maintain accurate logs (ELD/POV) and manage delivery paperwork in a timely manner.
- Adhere to strict traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding route changes and delivery issues.
- Represent the company professionally while maintaining a clean driving record.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) and current drug screen.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) review.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement and DOT regulations.
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to pass a DOT physical examination.
