Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and delivery vehicles on various routes throughout the Minneapolis area.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring all freight is secured properly and weight distribution is correct.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure road safety.
- Accurately complete and maintain daily logbooks, delivery receipts, and mileage reports.
- Navigate routes efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse staff to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience (preferred).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet strict delivery deadlines.
- Basic mechanical aptitude to handle minor vehicle issues.
