Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks and vans on local and regional delivery routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts or hand trucks, ensuring proper securing of freight.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and mileage using ELD technology.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries.
- Communicate any vehicle issues or delays to dispatch immediately.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B (depending on position).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 1 minor moving violation within the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
