Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A/B) in strict adherence to FMCSA regulations and company policies.
- Load and unload cargo using proper safety techniques and handling equipment.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging devices (ELD) and delivery documentation.
- Adhere to strict safety schedules and time management protocols to ensure on-time deliveries.
- Represent the company professionally with customers and clients at every stop.
- Keep the vehicle interior and exterior clean and well-maintained.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with required endorsements (Hazmat/Tankers a plus).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC) or DOT medical card.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3-5 years.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, safety procedures, and cargo securement.
- Valid Commercial Driver's Manual and ability to read maps and GPS systems.
