Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) for local and regional deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork in compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safety and operational readiness
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and route optimization protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment maintenance programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Washington DC metro area roadways
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and communication skills
