Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance
- Load/unload cargo using forklifts and pallet jacks as needed
- Optimize delivery routes to meet tight schedules
- Document mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery manifests
- Communicate with dispatch via ELD system for real-time updates
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean MVR (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Florida roadways and weather conditions
- Basic forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends during peak seasons
