Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles across Pacific Northwest routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance documentation
- Deliver time-sensitive freight while maintaining impeccable safety records
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding shipment status
- Adhere strictly to HOS regulations and company safety protocols
- Perform basic cargo securement and loading/unloading assistance when required
- Report maintenance issues and coordinate vehicle servicing
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean MVR (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable OTR or regional driving experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Oregon/Washington route geography
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and securement standards
- Ability to work flexible schedules including weekends/holidays
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management and customer service abilities
