Job Summary
As a CDL Driver at OmniLogistics, you will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently to various destinations. You will represent our brand positively and ensure customer satisfaction with every delivery.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver freight on time and within schedule.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and DOT compliance.
- Document daily logs, mileage, and delivery status accurately using ELD systems.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring cargo integrity and proper handling.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and warehouse personnel regarding schedules and issues.
- Maintain a clean driving record and adhere to all traffic laws and company policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Card (DOT Physical) on file.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to work independently.
