Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van & refrigerated) in compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Plan efficient routes and maintain delivery schedules across North Carolina and surrounding states
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload freight with precision and care using appropriate equipment
- Utilize electronic logging systems (ELD) for real-time tracking and compliance
- Build strong customer relationships through professional communication
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no DUIs in past 5 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and pass DOT physical examination
- Familiarity with North Carolina roadways and DOT regulations
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including overnight trips
