Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van and reefers) on regional routes
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Complete accurate delivery documentation and load verification
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Maintain efficient delivery schedules and communicate with dispatch
- Manage paperwork including bills of lading and logbooks
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Houston metro area and surrounding routes
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting knowledge
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Flexibility for overnight trips and weekend shifts
