Responsibilities
- Operate Class A tractor-trailers for regional routes within Texas and surrounding states
- Safely load/unload freight using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logbooks
- Adhere to FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate with dispatch for timely deliveries and route adjustments
- Minimize transit time while ensuring cargo integrity
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 1 year verifiable experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and operate warehouse equipment
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Flexible schedule including nights/weekends as needed
- Knowledge of Hazmat materials handling preferred
