Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently to deliver freight on schedule.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Maintain accurate logs and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Interact professionally with customers and warehouse personnel at delivery and pickup locations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements (Tanker, Hazmat preferred).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience (Class A preferred).
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service oriented attitude.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual labor as required.
