Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (Class A CDL) within Austin metro area and regional routes
- Load/unload freight using pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided)
- Conduct pre/post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Deliver freight on time with zero damage claims
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Maintain clean driving record and professional appearance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Knowledge of Austin traffic patterns and regional highways
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
