Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van and flatbed) in compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Plan efficient routes and maintain accurate delivery logs using ELD systems
- Inspect vehicles pre/post-trip and report maintenance needs promptly
- Load/unload freight with proper securing techniques and equipment operation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and communicate delays proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with Hazmat/Doubles/Triples endorsements (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Excellent time management and route planning skills
