Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial motor vehicles (CMVs) on assigned routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections (DVIR).
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Adhere to all Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations.
- Ensure cargo is secure and protected from damage during transit.
- Communicate promptly with dispatch regarding delays or issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A or Class B.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong commitment to safety and customer service.
