Responsibilities
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper tie-down techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and hours of service.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service during pickups and deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding delays or issues.
- Keep the truck clean and well-maintained at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Current DOT medical card and valid DOT physical.
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the last 3-5 years.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
- Strong knowledge of commercial vehicle operation and safety standards.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Experience with dry van, flatbed, or tanker preferred but not required.
