Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently across local routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo accurately while adhering to weight and balance regulations.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and daily logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules.
- Uphold all DOT and company safety policies at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A or Class B with the appropriate endorsements.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current DOT Medical Card and drug screen certification.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and highway safety regulations.
- Ability to pass a background check and physical examination.
