Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in a timely and efficient manner to meet delivery schedules.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo security and damage-free delivery.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, company safety policies, and traffic laws.
- Complete daily Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports (DVIR) and maintain accurate logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding schedules and any delivery issues.
- Maintain a clean and professional appearance of the vehicle interior and exterior.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with required endorsements.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a professional environment.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
