Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles (dry van and reefers) across Texas and Southwest routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain accurate logbooks
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Deliver freight on time while prioritizing customer satisfaction
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Manage paperwork and documentation for each shipment
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license (Texas preferred)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Basic mechanical knowledge for roadside inspections
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility for regional overnight trips (80% home time)
