Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver packages and food orders to residential and commercial locations
- Maintain clean, organized vehicle and ensure timely route adherence using GPS navigation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and handle special requests
- Verify delivery details, collect payments when required, and maintain accurate delivery records
- Perform routine vehicle safety checks and report maintenance needs promptly
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery routes and resolve delivery issues
Qualifications
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record (3+ years preferred)
- Reliable personal vehicle with current registration and insurance
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with San Diego neighborhoods
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods
- Exceptional time management and problem-solving abilities
- Positive attitude and commitment to punctuality
- Smartphone with data plan for delivery app integration
